Homeschoolers Sports Day 2023

 SPORTS, SOCIALIZING & Homeschoolers

Embarking on a sports journey unleashes a realm of potential for children. Sports nurture their camaraderie and resilience while cultivating sportsmanship values. Their cognitive development flourishes improving EQ along with IQ.

Homeschooling families synergize efforts for memorable sports experiences for our children. Our collective endeavors, teamwork, roles distribution, profound sense of community and combined resources shape-up a thriving experience. All put efforts but organizers have a great deal to work for the event. Hats-off to them!!
Color scheme for sports?
Yeah we do have it but it’s not about spending thousands for uniforms from ‘specific’ shop. We wear whatever available at home & it does turn out spectacular on the day!
Who is the winner?
Our type of event is not a boxed & steered fashion, rather encouraging children for ideas then happily implementing those. While there are winners & children know it, the certificates & medals are given to each & every child who participated as the parents are in the management so we do care if our child will feel left-out or might think that the decision was not fair.
Children are children, let them have a memorable childhood!
At the end of the day it’s not about competition, it’s about expanding horizons. It’s about our young passionate athletes whose happy hormones are generated as opposed to the one who stood first was happy while the one who stood last was sad.
My Role:
Well, I was warm-up incharge & conducted warm-ups for the entire squad along with helper moms. Then I was helper mom along with an incharge mom & other helper moms for conducting sports of one group of kids.
Nota Bene: Pakistan is not facing crackdown on homeschoolers cuz there are other sort of crackdowns but let me tell you, there are some countries in the world where homeschooling is a crime & either parents can get arrested or child can be taken into government custody. The reason being, well aap sab aqalmand hein khud he sochein reason.

100 acres Wheat in Sindh

2022 Pakistan floods |  Agricultural damage | Land reclamation | Food security | Technology integration

[78:14] And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water
[78:15] That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation
[78:16] And gardens of entwined growth

This land was flooded during the devastating floods of 2022, which submerged one-third of Pakistan. The impact on agriculture has been severe, including damage to seeds and grains, crop loss, a food security crisis, and economic hardship for farmers whose primary source of income is agriculture.
As part of its land reclamation vision, Crop 2X has taken a significant step, expanding from mere tens of acres to one hundred acres—a step towards revitalizing the land and cultivating wheat.
Crop2x Ltd is integrating AI, IoT, GIS and more technologies to optimize agricultural practices aiming to support farmers for sustainability, achieve better yields with minimal inputs, and ensure food security.

Junking Mindfully

Which junk can we eat sometimes??? How to choose from the world of junks if you must???

Biryani or bun kebab or kachori or naan or nihari or chapli kebab or halwa poori or falooda or kulfi or peshawari ice cream???

Choose from junk: The junk which is around since decades, the junk which is native, the junk which is made in a traditional way without addition of deliberate ingredients to deteriorate health.
The point is, choose a junk if you must, that junk which is not introduced by multinational companies & the junk which is not foreign! Foreign to your soil, foreign to your mind, foreign to your eyes, foreign to your gut, foreign to your taste bud & most importantly foreign to your GRANDPARENTS!

Which junk not to choose??? Munching on foreign junk has (i) spiritual aspect: as in why buy anything from which a percentage might be used against Muslims? (ii) moral aspect: why not pay to the locals & contribute to uplifting country's situation? (iii) last but not the least health aspect: that stubborn fat, that nasty cough, that returning cold, that unbearable headache, receding gums, skin health, cancers, heart health etc??? why eat something that triggers health issues?
Don't deprive yourself from cherishing the present & flashing back to childhood memories!
Now that I make sugar-free immunity boosting falooda at home using sago, raw organic milk, tukhmbalanga, homemade choc, khoya, fruits & nuts...
But this type falooda is my childhood love & brings so much of memories...

Now that I make chakki aata buns & filling with homecrushed spices...serving with homemade ketchup & mayo...bit of yogurt chutnee...But thelay vala bun kebab ka apna maza hay!
