Attended Natural Birth Workshop 2025 - as AMANI trainee affiliate; childbirth educator & doula

🍃Whatever I inform about healthy lifestyle comes from the knowledge that I learn during my studies.

✒️While my two environmental engineering degrees, I have worked in laboratories & medical school. Then I top those up with certifications coupled by my research publications & most importantly my personal experiences, trial & testings.

🍃That's why what I share is not on Google /chatgpt / meta just like that, as these platforms are not for proper knowledge. I put my time & money to earn valuable implementable knowledge.

✒️Sharing my most recent certification that I have earned April 2025.

Natural Instincts are necessary for survival today!

MY CERTIFICATION

NATURAL BIRTH INSTINCTS & KNOWLEDGE IS LONG FORGOTTEN SO I SHARE THE IDEA:

Natural Birth instinct & knowledge which was deep rooted within us, it's long forgotten. reviving it can cause real healing of us spiritually, emotionally & physically.

Natural instinctive birth is right of mother & baby.  Trust in Allah & His design, work with our body systems and hormones to achieve a peaceful birth instead of extra medical interventions & face consequences e.g. side effects of unnecessary c-sec.

As most of you know that how much I advice for health but I myself felt totally helpless & in no control when I was rushed to unnecessary fear-mongered emergency c-sec despite my healthy pregnancy throughout & even at that moment...

Entrepreneurship & homeschooling

My poetry:
Lo, entrepreneurship
catalyst of excellence, the flare
audacious zest from trickle to a roar, the dare
when passion sparks compassion embarks, the care
Lo, entrepreneurship
Where can your child learn entrepreneurship?
Attending workshops & collecting certificates can create an entrepreneur?? Entrepreneurship is an exploratory voyage fueled by intuition, guided by gut feelings, and driven by understanding of market dynamics. Iterative nature of entrepreneurship equips children with indispensable life skills, preparing them for flux of circumstances ahead. It teaches to tap curiosity & navigate uncertain terrain while learning work ethics.
Uncomfortable becomes the new comfort zone while the child gets hands-on financial literacy.
We, the homeschoolers facilitate our children explore various arts & skills then offer them platforms where they can showcase & sell their creations. Not to mention we do not restrict the thinking process as opposed to some academy where a trainer pours-in same idea for same project then the whole class has same outcome! Is that creativity???
My Role: from facilitating kids to explore various projects & arts to making products & marketing, then to displaying & earning.
Clicks: from various entrepreneurship events where many children marketed their ideas & products. They got appreciation from other parents / visitors. Children’s products/services are sold as well.

ARMEZ - The tech-startup of NEDUET
It was the nick of time when the group of four girls who are behind this technological and striking project, were on a thoughtful path of choosing final year project (FYP). The very path was leading them to choose between just marks or brilliance. While taking care of marks, they took the brilliant path, no doubt. The path was toilsome indeed as they had to literally put their sleep, sweat, and seconds on the path but they were happy as they were using their engineering skills to shape a project that was meant more than a project to them. They took their entrepreneurial endeavors along with maintaining high grades and dived into the world of braininess to deliver one of the best FYP of NED. After all what’s the use of a project or degree or knowledge if the world is not getting benefit from it?

“It was the time when we were quite confused about the selection of an appropriate Final Year Project, when this idea was proposed by our mentor Dr. Khurram”, says Nimra Idrees Fazil.

Among hundreds of FYPs, this FYP was presented not just to get marks, not just to make a good report, not just to get a degree but also to achieve a shear, dynamic, eye-catching, and ambitious goal. The goal of using the engineering knowledge for the better of society and for the technology itself. The girls took the very FYP a step ahead and made it spectacular, obliging, and gratifying for others. The FYP has now morphed into a tech-startup which has emerged as ARMEZ in the technological realm. As they are now part of entrepreneurial environment; they realize that taking risks, dealing with uncertainties, and working outside of work hours is what one can expect. But they are more motivated than ever before and want to take ARMEZ to an elevated level where not only it is self-sustainable but also able to create jobs for others.

Sheena is first position holder from Electronics Engg. Dept. NED.

                                       Nimra                                                         Tahniat

Shaping ARMEZ – The challenges
This staggered project was intelligently brought into existence with continuous and strong-willed struggle & perseverance. The four girls were working in the lab focusing on the project while experiencing the dynamics of team work to achieve milestones as they were transforming a basic FYP into a well-defined product. They endured numerous challenges from hardware designing to mechanical fittings, from working whole day to work even during late hours after a tiring day, from brainstorming in the lab to visiting the market, from debugging software glitches to taking care of the hardware aesthetics, and working towards their goal outside of comfort zone while tackling the negativities of the society.

“The first challenge we came across was to achieve a desired range which we managed to accomplish after numerous efforts”, says Nimra Idrees Fazil.

How the ARMEZ’s amazing four feel now?
ARMEZ has already launched its debut project in Arena. The girls feel even more driven towards delivering further projects as they want ARMEZ to thrive in terms of technology and expand in terms of clients. With success comes responsibility; the responsibility of carrying the success with good hopes for the future while being an exemplary start-up that juniors in the lab and in NED can follow in terms of strenuous and dedicated hard work.

“We have achieved amazingly well in short period of time. Yet we know, there is a long way to go”, says Ramla Kaleem Shah.

“We will go in all directions, through all difficulties in order to make it self-sustainable”, says Sheena.

ARMEZ’s message
Nothing should stop you from striving towards your dreams like societal thinking that how weak you are, peer-pressure, the university you study in, or the country you live in. There is only one thing that hinders you from triumphing; YOU. Try finding the guts within YOU, get the idea, plan it, then do it. Who is stopping YOU?

“Think positively, work hard, take risks and be patient as success takes time", says Dr. Khurram, Founder & Director, ARMEZ.

“Pakistan needs job creators”, says Sheena.

“Do not be afraid of failure”, says Ramla Kaleem Shah.

“Do not lose hope and keep struggling for the best. Pakistan needs such people and it’s high time to serve our country”, says Tahniat Hasan Khan.

6 perks of starting your business before you graduate

Once the entrepreneurial notion triggers with in the heart of a future entrepreneur and the idea comes out of the mist, he/she starts planning on how to make it happen. The idea must be followed by a thoughtful plan. The plan then comes into the execution phase and finally the start-up builds its shape & reputation. A person at any stage of life can feel the pulse to work towards a successful star-up.

The best stage of life to go for your entrepreneurial dreams is while you are an undergraduate student. It is the time of life when you are most “free”. Now don’t get me wrong as I use the word “free”. I know there are assignments, exams, presentations, FYPs, and events that keep you busy day in & day out. Any ways, that’s another topic but for now take a look at these charming benefits an undergraduate student can avail when he/she works towards a start-up while studying.

You can find your technical niche easily
You don’t have to find your interest. You just need to develop your interest in at least one or few technical subject that you feel comfortably getting along with. If you start a glass / wood selling business then what an intermediate pass will do? If you are thinking about any business that is purely non-technical then what’s the use of all this maghaz maree (brain-storming), presence, & attendance at the university? Use your wisdom tooth up to its potential. Get as many professional experiences as you can. Work in highly technical environments. It’s the best time when you can go through trials & errors of your technical ideas. Post graduating, errors might be catastrophic.

Do not “find” your endeavors out there. The endeavors are hidden in the very core of yourself. You just need to clip them & gloss them, then get them endorsed, and finally dispense them for the better.

Making a good team of energetic executives
You are a student, there are 1000’s of students surrounding you. You know most of them. You know their personality & interests. You know if they can catch up with you in difficult times or not. It’s the best scenario when you can actually build up a team of like-minded students who possess similar endeavors. Later on, out there in the world it’s near impossible to hand-pick such perfect team. Right now you have the chance to pick & reject, change the team, or change the leadership of your team.

Embellish your resume
It’s the phase of life when you can decorate your resume to give it a pearly shine. You can add many exhibitions, talks, events, certificates, internships, jobs, skills, presentations, write-ups, projects & experiences into your resume. You are a student; it doesn’t make a bad impression when you start a work then quit it after 2 months or so. It doesn’t matter, you can always have your exams excuse. In the meantime you get experience of working differently in different environments. But after graduation; an excuse of the sort conveys a non-professional & lame attitude from your side.

Use the name entrepreneur with your name only when your core speaks that you are an entrepreneur

A little money is the reward
You do not have to worry about how the kitchen runs, how the bills are paid, or who is at the door when the bell rings. You can stay put and work towards your idea. If by chance you are able to earn through your project, then bingo you have made it this far! Consider it a milestone then work harder to achieve higher milestones. But after you graduate and if you are just making peanuts through your start-up, then people consider you nothing but nuts.

Office space is not necessary
You do not need an office at this stage. You can always go to potential venture capitalist, client or audience and present to them your idea or project. They can also visit your project in your university and you do not need to offer them a seat at ‘your office’. They won’t get you wrong because you are a student. You can set stall in exhibitions representing your university and projecting your start-up. No one will ask that where your office is. But after you have graduated, an office space is a must when some client wants to visit to discuss about any project.

Getting approval is on the tips
When you mention that you are a student, you have got privilege already. When you pitch your idea and start marketing your skill or project, people would be interested to listen. As a student you may face fewer rejections. Getting approval of funds or stall space may become easy by the virtue of being student. Clients are happy to welcome you.
