Sugar: spikes blood sugar, insulin imbalances, leads to diabetes & fat storage.
Maida or all purpose flour: similar effects along with inflammation.
Yet eating sugar & maida sometimes may not be as harmful as compared to eating chicken
Why????
Chicken especially broiler chicken: medicated rapid growth feed given to it. It is injected with life saving meds as it can die soon due to its feed....
So when one eats it,
there can be antibiotic side effects & resistance, medications toxicity, metals toxicity, hormonal imbalances....
all these combine can lead to nutrients deficiency, food intolerance, toxicity in blood & organs, pains, tiredness, dizziness, upset stomach, skin issues, recurring disease, mood swings & depression, always eating medicine....leading to life time medications...this situation is carcinogenic.
So, eating chicken even sometimes can be very harmful...
Also, these chicken themselves die soon due to toxicity in them so you wouldn't know what happened to the chicken when you buy it already slaughtered and when you eat it at restaurants etc.
And yes, many times cooked dine-out chicken has its unique heak...due to meds & metals in it..also may be it was about to die or already dead before slaughtering....
Know that there is no majburi (compulsion) to eat chicken ..in a metropolis where many other options available, how can one even say that?
Remember it's not the chicken breed that is harmful... it's the feed & injections that are harmful...
If desi breeds are given toxic medicated feed & raised in caged environment, those become harmful too....
What to do? Alternative of chicken?
1. If you skip chicken for a month or two, then you can feel the difference in your gut health & overall health.
3. Red meat is less toxic comparatively...although injections etc given to cattle too but not such high level as chicken...
4. If you buy chicks of any breed desi or broiler & feed them clean, they don't fluff, eat those....
How to investigate about chicken?
Tip 1: do some market search about chicken on these words:
گرم
سفری
ٹھنڈی
Tip 2: See how the raw or semi ready chicken supplies are done at restaurants & eating outlet...what hygiene & SOPs do they follow or don't follow...
Investigate yourself.....before any decision...
