Gravitational Waves

A century ago in the year 1915, Albert Einstein proposed ‘general theory of relativity’. He proposed that the fabric of space-time might be able to vibrate due to some astrophysical process. Such highly energetic process can create ripples on the space-time fabric. Those ripples are now known as ‘Gravitational Waves’.  The year 2015 has confirmed Einstein’s theory. ‘Gravitational Waves’ were actually observed by the scientists, hundred years later than the initial Einstein’s theory. It shows the hard work of the scientists. Great work!

How the Gravitational Waves turned up?
The Gravitational Waves were turned up 1.3 billion years ago by two massive black holes whirling around each other, then spiraled inward & finally merged into each other creating a huge black hole. That collision of two massive black holes released energy of many suns in a time as less as fraction of a second. The energy released 1.3 billion years ago is still spreading outward in the form of Gravitational Waves causing distortion on the fabric of space-time. These waves were most intense at their focal point & by the time they have reached Earth, they are so weak that they are not easy to detect. These Gravitational Waves were travelling from the point of collision & came to our solar system on September 14, 2015.  Scientists are proclaiming that it’s the most powerful event that has ever been detected as observers of the universe.



The question
The question is that: Are there more powerful events happening or have happened on the farthest side of the universe? Will humans ever be able to detect those events? This event happened 1.3 billion years ago and mankind got the clue merely a century ago then been able to detect just recently. Furthermore, detection of ‘Gravitational Waves’ has confirmed Einstein’s theory that was proposed only 100 years ago. These waves have also confirmed that the waves were themselves created long before than the humans were created. We can understand that powerful event if we try to be among “people of understanding”.

Listen to the universe Scientists are proclaiming that these waves might help humans to listen to the universe, to explore the unknown side of the universe, & to listen to the music of the cosmos. To listen to the universe we have to try to be among “people who listen”. If this is the ‘mind blowing’ event then why it cannot be a ‘mind changing’ event?
The point to note is that these Gravitational Waves caused tiny effect on our planet but the waves were travelling & distorting space & time. These waves must have been created for a reason & they might have affected the beyond side of the universe immensely.

NEVER FAIL MEALPLAN

When it comes to meal plans & diet routines, it’s easy for the fitness instructor to make a chart that includes breakfast, lunch & dinner specific items from Monday through Sunday. The instructor generally doesn't consider whether it is easy for the participants to get on to that strict diet routine & meal plan. A fitness instructor can always tell to stay on low carb diet or sometimes high protein diet. A meaning less meal plan is that, which can include things like oatmeal in breakfast, cucumber & avocado salad in lunch, & ginger carrot soup in dinner. Such sort of meal plans are provided with a routine to every participant of the workout. How can everyone strictly follow same meal plan? Each person’s needs are different. You can guess if this sort of menu will be provided, how many of you will be able to strictly stick to this type of routine? It’s easier said than done!
If you do try to act on a meal plan but are unable to act upon that ‘perfect meal plan’, then it will have negative effects on your other chores and moods, like not feeling to study, getting angry, not feeling sleepy, feeling left out and other more severe symptoms.

Better to adopt such a plan that least corrupts your mind & body trying to lose fat as fast as possible. You don’t need to be fast and furious but slow and steady. Believe it to know that if you just eat mindfully, do little control on your eating habits, & eat small portions then you can achieve your goals. Consistency is a must for the lifetime. If you suppress cravings, pressurize yourself by not eating, that craving returns with a vengeance in some other form like anger or finally eating mindlessly.

Furthermore if you get on to a ‘perfect’ diet routine with specific ‘meal plan’, how long can you do so? 5 days, 5 months, 5 years? 10 year? No more! This is the reason why you see celebrities both from media & sports put on kgs & kgs of weight after their peak career is over. When they are 'in' they are totally committed to a 'perfect' diet but after that they lose control on their cravings and their body goes in the opposite direction from what you call 'smart'.



The meal plan is that eat home cook food, no-dine outs, no fast food, low salt,eat fresh veges & fruits, cook in light veg oil like olive oil, no ghee, and lots of water but no fizzy drinks. Having a proper routine means time-your-eating. Have lunch, breakfast, & dinner at exactly same time every day. Eat small. Don’t fill up your tummy. Stop eating when you can still eat more. Have dinner 2 hours before bed time. Simple!
Train your brain & eat mindfully that's the meal plan.

THE CORE STRENGTH

The CORE STRENGTH is to: focus on stamina improvement, work for a healthier lifestyle, tone body via exercise, stay healthy via mindful eating, try being happy, making others happy, perform duties well & have a good spiritual well-being sense. 
A strength that gives energy to thrive, enables mind to solve daily problems, & empowers heart to help others is CORE STRENGTH.
Merely working on the body to the perfection while corrupting soul & emotions can not make core strong. Work towards overall health then weight loss will be the reward. 
Learn about better eating habits. The fat will burn over time. Don’t be hasty. There is no short cut. Short cuts lead to disastrous person. Slow & steady wins the race. Long term investment is required for sustaining fitness.



Have perseverance & its good to know that you are one step ahead than yesterday. 
Stay on track! Never go astray!

Artwork



This art is drawn by a maid's daughter. She does cleaning works with her mother in other's houses whole day in order to support her family. She has sketched her thoughts with limited material which was given to her from a home where she works.
She wants a better life, she wants to study, she wants to go to school! But she knows that she will soon be tied to a man in the name of marriage, she doesn't know how much elder than her will he be & of what character. She knows that after that it wont be a happy ending, then she will work in other's homes for the rest of her life in order to earn for her offspring & her in-laws just like her mother has been doing ever-since.
She wants to feel better than just a maid ('masi') but she doesn't know how to? She is just sketching hoping for a future better than the past!

Sleeplessness

Sleeping pattern of children overseas
In developed countries the babies have sleeping patterns. From toddlers to kids they have fixed bed time. They know they have to be on the bed by that time. The time is somewhere between 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. You won’t hear a kid after these timings because their bedtime starts. As a result, the parents get time to finish up the chores and take a good sleep themselves to get refueled for the next busy day. 

Sleeping routine is not disturbed
Both the parents normally work, so the whole family enjoys a proper routine which in fact is good for the health and over all family tie. They do enjoy parties on the weekends & on holidays but without disturbing the kids’ sleeping routine. This is beneficial for the brain & body development of the little ones. Babies and kids are not seen taking a nap in the evening, as their long pampering bed time approaches soon after the evening.

Kids are active at night
On the contrary, the sleeping pattern of children here in Karachi is "amazing". Babies sleep pattern is not even discussable. Babies & toddlers are seen sleeping whole day & been active whole night! If not whole day but at least during large chunk of the day they sleep. 

How sleep routine is adjusted? 
Now let's see the sleep timings of school going kids. If tomorrow is school, so the kids will sleep early i.e. between 10:30pm & 11:30pm. This time is too early to sleep in Karachi. If its a holiday next day then everyone is in very very relaxed mood. The dinner is not at the dining table until its after 10:00 pm & that’s even early for many families. Then obviously the kids in the house can’t feel to sleep until its midnight. They go to the bed after 1:00 am or two three hours can be added to that time.


Preparing the kids for that party...
If there is a very important party here we call it dawat, dawat means a dinner with the whole family & may include extended family just for the sake of it & not generally requires a reason to throw that party. Then to prepare the kids for that party which will take place between 10:00 pm and 1:00 am, the kids are made to sleep in the afternoon for two, three, four hours. Then kids are fresher than ever at 7:00 pm which should be normal sleepy time for a kid.  Then the kids don't disturb adults while they are busy gossiping & showing off during the party. 


Eventually, sleep routine is such that it’s not a routine any more. It’s just an effort put to disturb the natural sleeping routine.


Sleeplessness is the starting point of illnesses
The same kids when they are in their teens or early twenties, they are seen totally awakened during the night, chatting, talking, partying, whatsapping, watching movies, hanging with their laptops & androids because they have forgotten what a sleep is! Then they are not attentive in their works, duties, and studies. When there is no sleep, the whole next day is lazy seemingly busy. This is because parents didn’t even try introducing a very important habit of sleep. This sleeplessness is the starting point of many problems & illnesses. 


Its an untold & undiscovered flaw in the parenting style that they try to adjust sleep of their children according to their own interests & business!



How to prevent a sleepless night?






If any family has a proper sleeping schedule, then it’s harder than said to adjust with nocturnal peers / buddies. The family want to be part of parties & dine outs but due to time adjustments, it seems like a mission to accomplish. And people go like, "Why you sleep early?" Huh!
Man! I do not sleep early. I am a parent. I have a thousand things done before I go to bed. It's for my kid's sleep pattern that I need to be home before their sleep time...........

10 Minutes Exercise

It's a common thinking that exercise is very difficult & time taking. It's true that if you are training properly you need to time yourself & sync yourself with specified sets & reps of an exercise.
But here is a 10 minutes exercising routine for those who are busy or not keen to do regular exercise. It doesn't require any equipment or specific clothing. You just need your running shoes or stay bare feet. 
The tips are about how to do on the spot jogging. Stand on a comfortable place. Take few deep breaths. Start jogging on the spot continuously for 10 minutes. You will notice that its not very easy to even jog at a place continuously for as less as 10 minutes. Do it at least 3 days a week. When you get regular at it, you will start losing weight and you will feel fresher. You can jog indoors or outdoors.


You have to keep in mind that jogging while intake of junk wont leave a positive effect on your body. You have to stay away from 
J-U-N-K.
